The much-awaited Express Entry Draw has invited over 3,900 aspiring candidates to apply for Canadian permanent residence in the 129th Express Entry draw on October 30th. The much-awaited CRS cut-off score for this draw has been increased to 475 a 9-point increase from the last one conducted on the 2nd of October 2019.
A lot of aspiring applicants had envisaged the reduction of the Express Entry cut off score. The Immigration, Refugees Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has explored its discretion and has selected qualified candidates who had scaled through the core human factors of age, level of education, work experience and language proficiency and have scored a minimum of 475 and above to come to process their permanent residence visa. It is important to note that the last draw conducted by IRCC was targeted on the Federal Skilled Trade program and applicants.
A total number of invited 3,900 applicants and their families were invited to apply for permanent residence and continues to be the largest number of invitations issued this year. Just this month, the IRCC had increased the number of ITAs from 3,600, which we had seen from July to September, to 3,900. With Canada’s continued push towards welcoming more than one million immigrants to be welcomed in the next few years, with the Liberal party in charge of the government, we can expect that the immigration levels and targets would increase in years to come.
