Express Entry 137| Cut-off 470| About 4,500 ITA’s issued.
Canada continues to astonish immigration speculators and aspiring candidates with its spontaneous immigration decisions. These candidates had proven their excellence in the core human factors of Age, Level of Education, Work Experience and Language Proficiency.
The minimum Comprehensive Ranking Score (CRS) score in this latest Express Entry invitation round was 470, a decrease of 2 points over the previous draw held February 5.
Immigration and Refugee Council Canada uses the Express Entry platform to manage the pool of candidates for three of Canada’s main skilled labor immigration categories — the Federal Skilled Worker Class, Federal Skilled Trade Class, and the Canadian Experience Class.
ABOUT 4,500 INVITATIONS TO APPLY ISSUED.
There was an interesting twist to the February 19th Express Entry Draw, the IRCC decided to issue about 4,500 invitations to Apply to candidates in the Express Entry pool who stood out from the rest. This is the first of its kind since the inception of the Express Entry pathway as the invitations have floated around 3,200 to 3,500, and this can only mean that the Liberal government of Canada is not relenting on fulfilling its promise of welcoming over One million immigrants in the next three years.
NO JOB OFFER REQUIRED.
A job offer is not required in order to be eligible for an Express Entry Invitation to Apply (ITA), though additional CRS points are awarded if a candidate has one.
A set number of the highest-ranked candidates are issued an ITA for Canadian permanent residence through regular draws from the pool. These invitation rounds typically take place every two weeks and the vast majority involve candidates from all three Express Entry-managed categories.
The Government of Canada has a processing standard of six months for permanent residence applications filed through the Express Entry system.
